This is a CJMCU-4051 74HC4051 8 Channel Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer Sensor Module Breakout Board for Arduino. It is based on the 74HCT4051 chip, which is a single-pole octal-throw analog switch (SP8T) that can be used for analog or digital 8:1 Multiplexer/Demultiplexer functions. The module has three digital select inputs (S0, S1, and S2), eight independent inputs/outputs (Yn), a common input/output (Z) and a digital enable input (E). The switches are turned off when E is HIGH. The inputs have clamp diodes that allow the use of current limiting resistors to interface with voltages higher than VCC.
