PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A Battery Management System (BMS) is a crucial device that monitors the status of batteries, regulates the charging and discharging processes, and provides additional essential functions to ensure safe and efficient battery operation.
This BMS module offers comprehensive protection features, including safeguards against short circuits, overcharging, and over-discharging. It can also disconnect the power supply to the batteries if any cell reaches its maximum capacity, acting as part of the charge controller’s functionality. Designed for long-term reliability, the BMS is built to last over 30,000 hours and can handle a maximum current of 3A.
If the input voltage exceeds the maximum allowable limit, the charge controller will automatically enter “protection” mode to prevent damage. To reset the module, simply reapply voltage to the BMS board’s input, or wait for the system to reset itself after a short period.
