Description:

The Rd-03D is a radar module created by Ai-Thinker, featuring the S5KM312CL chip. This chip is a microcontroller-based millimeter wave sensor SoC utilizing FMCW radar transceiver technology. Operating in the 24 GHz K-band, the Rd-03D has a maximum sweep bandwidth of 0.25GHz. It employs advanced FMCW waveform signal processing and the S5 series chip, along with MCU radar signal processing and an intelligent positioning and tracking algorithm. This enables the detection of multiple targets within a designated area and the real-time reporting of results, facilitating the rapid development of target positioning and tracking products.

The Rd-03D module precisely detects human presence and movement within a region, incorporating intelligent algorithms for motion trajectory recognition and tracking. It also performs speed measurement and ranging of targets, offering quick recognition and low power consumption. Easily configurable, the Rd-03D is ideal for various public facilities, capable of discerning human movement, slight motion, and stillness, thereby controlling equipment switches. Moreover, the module is robust against external interference and unaffected by wireless signals, including WIFI.
