The ESP32-WROOM-32U is distinct from the ESP32-WROOM-32D as it includes a connector for an external antenna.

Configured as a Wi-Fi station, the ESP32 can join other networks, such as your home router. In this setup, the router provides a unique IP address to the ESP board, allowing communication with the ESP through other devices connected to the same network, using the ESP’s unique IP address.
