1602 Parallel LCD Display with Blue Backlight
A display is a useful component for Arduino projects that require some visual output. The LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display is a good option for displaying a small amount of information.
This display has 16 characters and 2 lines, and it shows white text on a blue background with a backlight. It is ideal for Arduino-based projects, as it can be easily interfaced with Arduino or other microcontrollers.
The display can show simple text or numerical values from sensors, such as temperature, pressure, or the number of Arduino cycles.
However, the display requires 8 pins on the Arduino, which can limit the availability of other pins. A possible solution is to use an I2C adapter that can be soldered onto the display pins. This way, only the I2C pins are needed, and the display can be controlled with a library and some code.
Note: Header pins are not included in the package.
