PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A battery protection board is an integrated circuit board that protects rechargeable batteries (mainly lithium batteries) from damage. Lithium batteries have material properties that make them vulnerable to overcharging, over-discharging, short-circuiting, and extreme temperature charging. Therefore, lithium batteries always have a protective plate with a sampling resistor and a current fuse attached to their components.
This 3S BMS board is an example of a battery protection board that can connect 3 x 18650 batteries to form a battery pack. The battery pack can provide up to 15V DC output at 20A current, which is suitable for heavy-duty applications.
