The PIR Motion Sensor Detector Module HC-SR501 is designed to detect motion, primarily that of a human body within its range. Commonly referred to as a “PIR,” “Pyroelectric,” “Passive Infrared,” or “IR Motion” sensor, it is widely used for various motion-sensing applications.
This module features an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens. It includes potentiometers for adjusting both delay time and sensitivity. The module is compatible with various platforms, including ARDUINO, RASPBERRY PI, AVR, PIC, and 8051.
